CoaXPress Standard version 1.1.1 has been released.

CoaXPress Working Group released “CoaXPress Standard ver1.1.1″ Revised on Dec 29,2015.
v1.1.1 has a limited number of changes to clarify some points in the v1.1 specification. The main clarifications are: The Discovery section details, Pixel format naming and The bootstrap registers that should be listed in the XML file are now indicated.

Lens Mount Standard has been revised

 JIIA Lens Working Group has released “LE-006-2016 NF-J Mount Standard and Operational Regulations”.
 This document describes the specifications of the lens mount of the image sensor corresponding to “Class II” Image size (4 ~ 8 mm diagonal).
 This mount keeps high interchangeability with “NF Mount” as in LE-003, and is designed to improve the accuracy in alignment (the optical axis deviation) with a fitting part which is implemented in the vicinity of a screw thread.

IIDC2 Ver.1.1.0 has been released

IIDC2 WG has released the IIDC2 Digital Camera Control Specification Ver.1.1.0 as new version.
New functions and improvements are included in this version. And errata (CPR-003-2013) are also included. It is recommended to use this version for new products.

CoaXPress version 1.1 guide line released

JIIA CoaXPress working group has released ”JIIA CXPR-005-2014 CoaXPress Guidelines v1.0 to v1.1 Migration” which gives advice on the key differences between CoaXPress v1.0 and v1.1, and in particular on how to make Hosts complying with v1.1 which can also support operation with v1.0 Devices.

Lens Mount Standard has been revised

JIIA Lens Working Group has revised the lens mount standard from “LE-003-2008 NF Mount Standard and Operational Regulations” to “LE-003-2014” as Systematic Review.
In this revision, the technical specifications are not changed, but we applied a style that is current with JIIA’s standard forms, and reviewed both Japanese and English terminology within the document.

CLR-001-2014:Active PoCL cable power feed requirements

JIIA Camera link Working Group has been improving the CL Standard to promote the business of CL products in the machine Vision market.
Though the CL interface is a digital interface with high bandwidth, the maximum length of CL cable is not long enough for some customers.
Then, we would like to recommend the active cable to solve this problem.
This report is technical notes and advice for designing the active PoCL cable, especially, regarding power feeding to active circuit.

IIDC2 Ver.1.0.0 Technical Bulletin has been published

IIDC2 WG (renamed from Next Generation Camera Protocol WG) has published the Technical Bulletin for IIDC2 Digital Camera Control Specification Ver.1.0.0.
Errata and supplemental comments are described in this document. Please refer these contents for your new design to implement IIDC2.
These contents in this document will be included in the next version.

Lens Mount Standard has been revised

JIIA Lens Working Group has revised the lens mount standard from “LE-002-2008 Lens Mounts for Machine Vision Cameras―Lens Mount Sizes” to “LE-002-2013” as Systematic Review.
In this revision, the technical specifications are not changed, but we applied a style that is current with JIIA’s standard forms, and reviewed both Japanese and English terminology within the document.

The revised lighting standard of JIIA was approved by majority vote, and was certificated.

JIIA LI-001-2013, a revision of lighting standard JIIA-LI-001-2010 which was approved in 2011 as a world’s first machine vision global standard, was voted in a 30-days from last April 2nd, 2013, adopted by majority vote and certificated in the extended board meeting of directors of JIIA on May 23rd, 2013.
The main revised points are an embodiment of contents of lighting specifications and an enactment of a criterion of lighting brightness. Hereby, a comparative review of the brightness and the irradiation range of lighting are available regardless of lighting geometry and characteristics of objects.
